I picked up a camera in 2007, intending to learn basic manual photography. I have always appreciated how a good photograph could tell a story, and I wanted those for my children. I fell in love with seeing the world through a lens and learned everything I could about cameras, lighting, techniques, and post-processing. The camera allowed me to preserve so many moments in time.

When my oldest entered high school, I found my passion for sports photography. There was something about anticipating the next play, capturing the emotions, looking back through the photographs, and watching the game’s story unfold.

With the school’s permission and the veteran photographer’s mentorship at every game, I could take my photographs to the next level and give the student-athletes in our town images they will cherish.
