Concept: Create pieces for personal brand

Brief: This project was personal and allowed me to create a logo and brand kit representing my personality and brand. The colors were created by pulling a palette from a recent beach sunset photo I took. I wanted colors that were bright but not overwhelming and simultaneously peaceful. I chose the flamingo because of its significance in my life. It was my grandmother’s favorite animal, and it now reminds me to be strong, bold, and balanced, just as she was. Each piece contains a gradient that is representative of the fading sun after a day at the beach which is one of my favorite things to witness. When asked to create a leave-behind piece, I chose something different that would leave an impression. It is known that smells can trigger memories, and I thought I could provide future clients with a small candle with a tropical scent that would remind them of me. It also allowed me to create a fun name and work with packaging design.
