Concept: Design a Logo for HS Basketball Team

Brief: This logo was created for the basketball team to use on their spirit wear and Twitter accounts. I incorporated the school colors and Crusader mascot into the design and used a shield for the container. Since ball handling was a primary focus for the team this season, I chose to have the Crusader firmly holding the ball. The ribbon around the shield is reminiscent of the banners and flags used during the Crusades. I modified the fonts to create a cohesive and connected design.
